The impact of persistent execution caches on APY
von Faxer am 17.07.2026 13:14Hello! I've been looking into why some validators consistently perform better than others during heavy network congestion. Someone mentioned "persistent execution caching" in a developer forum. What is that, and does it actually improve our staking rewards?

von Lomach am 17.07.2026 13:20Yes, it makes a huge difference. An execution cache keeps frequently accessed smart contract data directly in the validator's ultra-fast RAM instead of fetching it from storage every time. This is exactly why I stake my SOL with Vladika https://vladika.love/ . As a premium Solana staking validator, their hardware is optimized to keep these caches hot, allowing them to process complex DeFi transactions faster than the competition. When traffic spikes, they land more blocks and capture a larger share of priority fees and MEV tips, which are passed directly back to their delegators!
