Hey, I know how frustrating that feels. When a dryer gets hot but clothes stay damp, it's usually airflow or moisture sensing. Heat alone doesn't dry clothes if air can't move out. I first thought it was the heater, but it wasn't. I reached out to Major Appliance Repair https://majorappliancerepair.info/ and asked them to check it. They offer fast in-home appliance repair, which helped because dryers are a pain to move. The tech checked the vent path and the moisture sensor. That made all the difference. After the fix, one cycle actually dried everything again. My dryer also stopped overheating. From my experience, this problem doesn't fix itself. It slowly wastes more energy and time. Getting it looked at early really paid off.

Dryer Gets Hot, Doesn’t Dry

Hey folks, my dryer heats up normally and finishes the cycle, but clothes still come out damp. Lint trap is clean, and I don't see any errors. Has anyone dealt with a dryer that heats but doesn't actually dry well?
